Small steps to God’s Kingdom

The mission of Children’s Ministries is to nurture children into a loving, serving, and lasting relationship with Jesus and their church, and to train, resource, and support those who minister to children.

On the 20th of January 2018, the Sabbath School Department and Children’s Ministries had organized a short and important program for our precious jewels. It was to acknowledge the promotion of several Children’s Sabbath School members to their next Sabbath School class levels.

We were given the privilege to see the importance of these Sabbath School classes in molding the new generation of Seventh-day Adventist believers. These young minds were not just introduced to the stories of the men and women in the Bible, the knowledge within God’s Word, and our Seventh-day Adventist core beliefs, but most of all, are encouraged to seek and build a very personal relationship with our God.

The children who were promoted were:

From Cradle Roll to Kindergarten

  1. Dindha Melody Priscilla Irawan

From Kindergarten to Primary

  1. Peter Imanuel William Irawan
  2. Aysz Iaine Cordero

From Primary to Juniors

  1. Hannah Jilienne Roque
  2. Kavin Pitakboonkate

From Juniors to Earliteens

  1. Huilin Zhang

From Earliteens to Youth

  1. Abigail Ashley Ada
  2. Don Ryan Merinquez
  3. Joseph Caezar Sespene
  4. Joshua Jon Arnielle Galvo
  5. Kenneth Joel De Jesus
  6. Kris Ivana Perera
  7. Nezi Mae Merinquez
  8. Samuel Storie
  9. Shika Borge

May we all fervently pray for these young souls to champion Jesus in their lives.

The Children’s Ministries and the Sabbath School Department would like to thank the parents and teachers’ efforts through God’s guidance in nourishing the minds, hearts and spirituality of our children through spiritual instructions.

We would also like to extend our gratitude to Pastor Wilson Aritonang for the dedicatory prayer, Ms. Gwen Angus for preparing the garlands, and the Sabbath School Department for the prayer journals gifted to our promoted students.

Parents, along with the Sabbath School teachers and adult fellow believers, can help pattern the growth of these children according to how “Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man.” (Luke 2:52)

Congratulations to all promoted students!!!
